Treasure Trail

The short “Treasure Trail” is perfect for families looking to get a taste of the snowshoe experience with “little” snowshoers. This trail has the same feel as our other routes but stays relatively close to the base for easy access.

Couple at Alexander Falls

Alexander Falls

Alexander Falls is accessed via two different trails. The first, “Alexander Falls Explorer,” is our classic nature trail that winds through coastal hemlock forests and picturesque sub-alpine wilderness. The second, “Alexander Falls Express,” is the most direct, but also the most difficult, considered challenging even for experienced snowshoers, Note: it closes in icy conditions.
Explorer: 2.5km | Express: 0.5km

Group snowshoeing through the forest

Finger Lakes

Snowshoe through a coastal rainforest on your way up to the Finger Lakes. Perfect for a day hike and picnic with the ice, this scenic destination features the best of The Callaghan’s wilderness, just a few km away. 4.3km

Family snowshoeing

Real Life Easy

Mostly used as the exit route from Finger Lakes, this trail can also be accessed from the base area and is best known for being the home of the oldest cedars in Sea to Sky region. It is a wide, routinely groomed, multi-use trail shared with skiers. Please respect skiers by staying to the side of the trail and avoid walking on the corduroy and track set surfaces. 4.9 km

Take to the snowshoe trails with ease thanks to our snowshoe rental options. Let us take care of fitting you with the best shoes for your specific hiking needs.

Snowshoeing is a great activity for the whole family to get out and explore The Callaghan. We welcome you to our backyard, where guests of all ages can have fun playing & laughing together in the natural world.  Our rustic, yet comfortable facilities inspire nostalgia of times past...when family time didn't compete with technologies, and memories were built around traditions of human connection.

Dogs are welcome on our lower snowshoe loops, as well as on the first five km of our multi-use trail—Real Life. Check out our pet policy for more info!
